2024 NoBo Appalachian Trail Thru Hike.
Springer Mountain (Amicalola State Park, GA)
to Mount Katahdin (Baxter State Park, ME).
Documenting my 2024 Solo North Bound Appalachian Trail Thru Hike starting at the Approach Trail (steps) in Amicalola Falls State Park a little over 8 miles from Springer Mountain (AT Southern Terminus) late February 2024. Currently the lower steps of the approach trail are closed for renovation. Planning on picking up my AT Thru Hike hang tag early morning and getting a picture at the iconic arches then heading up the West Ridge Trail to the mid-point of the stairs.
Love the AT / Appalachian Trail and looking forward to trail life, hostel hopping during the cold months, deli-blaze with plans to summit Mt Katahdin well before Baxter State Park winter closing.
Trail name "Quirk." I Love real people, finding joy in the moment, blessings in the successes and challenges. Love being real and a BIT "Quirky."

Have you ever felt judged or condemned? Was it by a Christian? Was it by me? Either way I am very sorry and owe you a deep, sincere apology. God is a Loving, Heavenly Father that Love’s ALL his children. Much like me, we are all imperfect, different, strange and a bit Quirky.
Christianity should NOT be judgmental, boring, and only for people who think they are perfect/non-sinners. The Church is not a shrine for the Saints, but a Hospital for the Sinners. We may have many differences (age, language, skin color, who we love, preference, likes and dislikes). Baskin Robbins makes 31 flavors for a reason. However, we ALL share a Loving, Heavenly Father who deeply Loves and wants the best for ALL his Children.
My Faith is my core.
God is alive. You can’t go a single day without tripping over one of his many miracles (every breath, every heartbeat, a child’s laughter…) Faith is exciting and full of adventure. Earth is the perfect playground full of mountains, oceans, sunrises and sunsets.
Please take a moment to relax, breath and be Thankful for the many Blessings experienced every day.
